Anymatic ("we", "us", "our") operates the website anymatic.io and develops plugins and digital tools for creative professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

  • Email address — when you contact us or purchase a license.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by our payment provider, Paddle. We never store your credit card details.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregated page views via Plausible Analytics. No cookies, no personal data collected.
  • License validation — our products may send a hashed machine identifier to verify your license. No personal data is transmitted.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To deliver and activate your license.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To send transactional emails (purchase receipt, license key).
  • To improve our product and website.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, we process your data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver your license, provide support, and process your purchase (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Legal obligation — to comply with accounting, tax, and invoicing requirements (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Payment Processing

All payments are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment information in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We receive only the data necessary to fulfill your order (name, email, transaction ID).

5. Transactional Emails

When you purchase a license, we send you a transactional email containing your license key and download instructions. These emails are sent through Brevo, our email delivery provider. Brevo processes your email address solely to deliver messages on our behalf, in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We do not use your email address for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

6. Cookies

Our website does not use cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookie-free and does not track individual visitors. Paddle may set strictly necessary cookies during the checkout process.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Active license — your email address and license data are retained for the duration of the contractual relationship (i.e., while your license is active and in use).
  • Inactive license — if your license has not been used (no activation or validation) for three (3) years, your personal data (email, license key, and machine identifiers) will be automatically and permanently deleted, in compliance with CNIL guidelines on data retention.
  • Invoicing data — billing and transaction records are retained by our payment provider Paddle for up to 10 years as required by applicable tax and accounting law. We do not store payment data ourselves.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at [email protected]. We will process your request within 30 days.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
